The mission of the Sitka Police Department is to maintain order, and to preserve and protect the life, peace and property of the citizens of the City & Borough of Sitka. We are dedicated to the philosophy and values of community policing within a culturally diverse community, building upon the foundation of partnerships. Service will be our commitment, through honor and integrity. The Sitka Police Department is committed to safe-guarding the individual rights and freedoms and affording the dignity and respect to every individual within our community.
