Licensing a Dog in Sitka

New to Sitka and have a pet?

If  your dog is over the age of 6 months it needs to be licensed with the City and Borough of Sitka.  This can be done at the Sitka Police Department at 304 Lake Street, Rm 102.

The cost is $10.00 + tax for a spayed/neutered pet and $21.00 for unaltered pets.  Proof of rabies vaccination is required and proof of spay/neuter information will be needed as well. Dog licenses are valid for one year from the date of purchase.

Cats in Sitka do not need to be licensed.
