Pet of the Week, Lost Pets & Shelter Animals to Adopt

Sitka Police Department

PET OF THE WEEK

The pet of the week at the Sitka Animal Shelter is a one year old spayed female gray and black tabby type cat.  She was originally adopted from the shelter as a companion animal for a physically challenged person.  The cat seemed to be getting in the way of the people assisting the ill person so she ended up back at the shelter.  She is very loving and enjoys laps and being petted. This loving cat needs a home where she will be welcomed for her need to be close to people.

Other Animals Available for Adoption

A sweet medium size spayed female shorthaired reddish dog about 35-pounds

A three year old white with black and gray tabby spots neutered male shorthaired cat
